There is very little in life that is more important than teaching, and we believe music is an essential part of our culture, our society, and our very existence. We also believe that the very best way to pass it along to the next generation is in the context of in-person, one-on-one mentor relationships.
Our work is not based on single-touch, drop-in experiences of arts exposure but rather on developing meaningful relationships and building skills over time. Highly qualified teachers provide quality private and group lessons for guitar, drums, piano, and voice, performance opportunities, and ongoing mentoring to low-income students.
Because not every student learns the same way, we staff our lesson programs with groups of teachers who have varied backgrounds and specialties and are able to match our students to the best teacher fit. We ensure that our staff can meet the needs of those students who experience learning disabilities, emotional struggles, or physical challenges.
