Student Spotlight: Meet Archer

Meet one of our shining stars—a passionate vocal student who’s been part of the Mason Music family for the past three years. His love for singing and theater is unmistakable, showing up in every note he sings and every story he tells through music.

“I love that I can be expressive—and it ties right into my love for theatre,” he shares. That deep connection between music and storytelling is the heartbeat of his artistic journey.

One unforgettable moment? His very first recital. He missed his entrance—but instead of freezing, he bounced back with composure and confidence, like a seasoned performer.

His current focus? Tackling the high notes and learning to trust his voice—cracks and all. “Sometimes my voice cracks, but I’m learning to trust it more,” he says. With guidance from his teacher, Trevor, he’s diving into the technical side of singing, working on keeping his vertical thyroid cartilage tilted to support his sound.

His favorite part of lessons? “The connection with my teacher. Since we both love theatre, he really understands me—what I want to learn and how I want to grow.”

His ultimate goal? “Broadway—duh.” But his creativity doesn’t stop at center stage. He dreams of designing and building his own home from the ground up.

At Mason Music Foundation, we’re not just developing musicians—we’re nurturing confident, creative thinkers with dreams as big as their voices. We can’t wait to see where Archer’s journey takes him next.
