Jasmine has been learning guitar at our Woodlawn Studio for the past four years with her teacher, Joe DeVita – and what a journey it’s been! “I love how y’all matched me with the perfect teacher,” Jasmine shared. “He’s like me – he doesn’t let me slide and he pushes me.”

Right now, she’s working on mastering Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, and she’s already conquered some big milestones – like performing in our recital not just once, but twice! For Jasmine, those performances were more than just music. As a teen who struggled with social anxiety, stepping on stage was a huge personal win.

Jasmine’s music goal is to perform solo without fear. Her life goal is “to make a difference in the world, in any way that looks like. It doesn’t have to be big, even with just one person. I want to have a positive impact!”
